At the time of writing, Verbruggen has made 10 Premier League appearances for Brighton, keeping six clean sheets. He has also represented the Dutch Under-21 team 12 times. His market value is estimated to be around 18 million euros, making him one of the most valuable goalkeepers in his age group.
