Calgary Bus Shooting: Suspect Arrested, Victim in Critical Condition
Investigation Ongoing After Wednesday's Incident
Calgary police are continuing to investigate a shooting on a city bus on Wednesday afternoon that left one man in life-threatening condition. The shooting occurred during an altercation between two individuals, and police have since arrested a suspect in connection with the crime.
Victim Remains in Critical Condition
The victim of the shooting, a 28-year-old man, was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition. He remains in hospital in critical condition, and police are unable to provide any further updates on his condition at this time.
Suspect Arrested, Warrant Issued
On Thursday morning, the Calgary Police Service announced that they had arrested Theoran Yellowoldwoman, 28, in connection with the shooting. Yellowoldwoman was wanted on a warrant after being identified as a suspect in the incident. Police do not believe that there is any further risk to the public at this time.
Investigation Continues
Investigators continue to gather evidence and conduct interviews in relation to the shooting. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to come forward. Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the bus and surrounding area.
